About Ryan T. Hartwig, PhD

Speaker

Ryan has spoken to audiences large and small, and loves to help the light go on amongst the members of his audience. Ryan’s grateful for the many times he’s been able to speak and encourage and equip people at conference gatherings, church services, chapels, retreats, corporate events, and seminars and workshops. Husband + Dad

Ryan’s favorite roles in life are as husband and dad. Ryan journeys through life with his wife, Jill, and their four children: Halle, Alia, Katelyn, and Matthew. They enjoy a full family life, replete with lots of pool time in the summer and skiing in the winter, and hanging out with family and friends. He loves the Broncos, shooting hoops, playing card and board games, and eating. Most importantly, he has a passion for Jesus and the local church, and his heart beats for discipleship.

ENDORSEMENTS

“Ryan did an excellent job of laying out the data, giving people just enough time to think, engage in group interaction, and take away practical insights. Many folks said, “My team needs this and now I know what to do.” Ryan’s fantastic workshop was cognitive, local-church centric, and practical...bringing the latest scholarship to the pressing needs of churches.”

“In cycling, the breakaway rider who looks so strong and rides off from the group doesn’t last. By the end of the race the peloton, or teams, have pulled him or her back. Teamwork helps you do more and do it better and faster. Rather than merely talking about the value of teams, Ryan shows how they can be built for optimal performance.”

DR. STEVE HASPER

Lead Pastor, First Baptist Church

“Ryan’s teams book is amazing. I'm describing it to others as a cross between Good to Great and Sticky Teams. Great research and readability. Very focused and helpful. I hope to have our leadership teams use it soon to provoke better practices and conversations. Press on with your great and fruitful ministry!”
